Our Story

Since our establishment in 2014, Professional Studies Institute of New Zealand (PSI Tutoring) has helped hundreds of international students achieve their academic goals in New Zealand.

Customised one-to-one and small-group tutorials provide students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to achieve their goals, while also providing a point of social connection and support.


Tutorials cover a diverse range of subjects and can be delivered face-to-face or online. Auckland-based students are encouraged to attend face-to-face lessons at our Newmarket office.

English tutorials are delivered by qualified and highly-experienced ESOL or English teachers. Our bilingual subject tutors have all achieved outstanding results in their New Zealand high school and tertiary studies and have a wealth of knowledge in their specialty subjects.

I took tutorial classes at PSI during my three years of high school. These include English, Physics and Economics. In each class, the teacher will explain carefully based on my questions. During the learning process, I feel the fun of the course and improve the learning efficiency.
